First Round – Sunday 6/27:

Tap Room and CVLC/Riddell both had first round byes.

Middlebury 9, USA Stars 1
Middlebury simply had too much firepower for USA Stars. Greg Wheeler scored three goals to lead Middlebury and Paul Scheufele had 8 saves in goal.

Winners Bracket Quarterfinals - Sunday 6/27:

Tap Room 8, Middlebury 7
In another very evenly matched game, Tap Room capitalized on a two-man advantage in overtime to advance. Middlebury came back from two goals down with under five minutes left to tie, but could not convert in overtime. Tap Room advances to the semifinals on Monday.

Winners’ Bracket Semifinals – Monday 6/28:

Middlebury 12, Planet Harley 8
After 5-5 halftime, Middlebury slowly pulled away in the second half. While winning the groundball and face-off battles for most of the game, Planet Harley could not keep up in the second half. Middlebury lost all but 7 of the 23 face-offs, but still came away with the win.

Middlebury 7, FROGs 4 (5th place game)
Deadlocked through halftime, both teams struggled in the third quarter after the rain delay. Middlebury’s Greg Wheeler exploded in the 4th quarter for two goals and an assist, keeping the momentum with Middlebury. Despite just four shots on goal in the second half, the FROGs’ goalies was unable to make a save.
