NW Arts Web Site is now On-line. See us at http://www.viewit.com/nwarts
A new arts web site is officially on-line, connecting you to the arts in
Seattle, the Northwest, and around the world. Created by a handful of
volunteers in partnership with the Seattle Public Library, NW Arts contains 6
different bulletin boards, a chat room, links to web sites by artists of all
disciplines, arts organizations, and lots of resources.
All of the listings are free and self-serve. Users are encouraged to
contribute lots of new links, send in upcoming events for the calendar, and
add to the classifieds and calls-for-entry listings. The mission of Northwest
Arts and the Northwest Arts Consortium is to provide a forum where artists
from all disciplines may exchange ideas and information. The goal is to foster
an atmosphere conducive to the dynamic sharing of ideas and to create a vital
broad-based arts community in the Northwest.
