The web site, http://www.518.com/ provides information about communities and
other Web sites within the 518 area code (Albany and upstate NY). The first
site, introduced in mid-August, deals with the Saratoga region. The site
includes a calendar of events, tourist information, related home page links,
historical information and business listings. Visitor to www.518.com/ can now
see a map of the area and select maps of one of the regions within the area.
The regional map, in turn, leads to the range of available on-line
information.
Seems like an interesting possible addition for a future version of
Westchester Pathmaster, which is currently organized on a topical, not
geographic, basis.
