DELIVERS WEB PAGES ON DEMAND TO WIRELESS DEVICES.
THE COMPANY IS LEADING WIRELESS WEB INFORMATION
TECHNOLOGY INTO THE 21ST CENTURY.
November 18, 1999
Westchester, New York
SpeedyLink Enterprises has just announced its new premier service
offering web pages on demand to all email capable wireless devices.
Offering the latest in data exchange technology between wireless
devices and the internet, SpeedyLink Enterprises has provided a
service specifically designed for ease of use. The service has been
designed with the look and feel of a regular web browser so users can
easily make the transition from traditional browser to its Mail/Web
browser interface.
The company has made it possible for users to send email with
specific commands to the SpeedyLink system. Among other things,
users may request a certain web page, maintain personal bookmarks
then returns the results by email. Web pages are emailed in text form.
Users won't see images, java, java script, shockwave or anything else
that traditional web browsers offer. They will only see the important text
based information that is normally visible on web pages.
