ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) is a high speed, totally digital service being offered by Bell Atlantic. ISDN allows you to access the Internet at speeds of 64 kbps or 128 kbps, as opposed to the 33.6 kbps you might get with a modem on a standard phone line.

ISDN is a special type of phone line. To utilize WestNet's ISDN service, you will need an ISDN line installed in your home or office. Information about having an ISDN line installed is available via the web from Bell Atlantic's web site or by calling 1-800-GET-ISDN.

You will also need a special piece of hardware, called a Terminal Adapter, or TA. They are available from most stores where regular modems are sold (CompUSA, Computer City, or browse our list of Computer Service Companies).

Pricing for ISDN access depends on the number of channels and the payment plan:

1 Channel - 64K2 Channel - 128K
Yearly$360.00 ($30.00/mnth)$450.00 ($37.50/mnth)
Quarterly$99.60 ($33.20/mnth)$124.50 ($41.50/mnth)
